We appreciate feedback from our International Users outside North America, especially with regard to Call Log Assistant.
Phone carriers are free to send whatever strings of digits they want for a "number", and that's why we chose a pattern-matching strategy in CLA. The downside is the power puts more responsibility on correct data entry and "experimentation". We are addressing that with the upcoming CLA refresh.
We strive to make our applications locale-aware with regard to units-of-measure, etc. and using your own Settings e.g. for date/time formatting. Let us know where we can improve on that front; the Forum is now open.
